Banthai Guesthouse - Phetchaburi

We had a very pleasant city break at this traditional hotel. the property was so close to Phetchaburi, the market, food stalls, wats and temples, and markets. the place was at a short distance from Wat Ko Kaew Suttharam.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The warm and helpful lady at reception made me feel so welcome. The lovely traditional Thai-style accommodation was simple but jaw-droppingly beautiful. It's great value for money. The location is super convenient, with a short walk to the cable car and the town center. The room was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The shared areas were well maintained and the plants added a nice touch. The breakfast, including sweet rice in banana leaf, was a delightful surprise. The common area is perfect for chilling out. The guesthouse is conveniently located near Wat Mohathat Worawihan and Khao Wang. Street food stalls and a 7-11 are close by. The room was spacious and the wooden house provided a peaceful atmosphere. Pin, the lady who welcomed me, was extremely helpful. The wifi connection was great and they even offer bike and motorbike rentals. This is hands down one of the best places I've stayed in Thailand, offering a super fair price for an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back here every time I visit Petchaburi.

I had a wonderful stay at Banthai Guesthouse. the friendly hostess made me feel welcome and took the time to give me valuable tips about the city. My room wasvery comfy and tidy, and the included breakfast was delicious. The traditional Thai style of the accommodation added to the overall charm. The location was convenient, with a 7-11 and food stalls nearby, and it was easy to explore the city either on foot or by motorbike. I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse.

Lovely building and rooms with all facilities. Peaceful location - just walking distance from Wat sa Bua. - Set very close to local market, temples, street art, and street food. - Conveniently located in the center of old Phetchaburi in a residential area.

The property is conveniently located near popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. During my stay, I discovered the charming Wat Khoi and Wat Kamphaeng Laeng, both within a short distance from the guesthouse. It felt like I was embarking on an adventure, uncovering hidden gems right at my doorstep.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The hotel was beautiful, located in a quiet part of town with easy access to everything. The bedrooms were neat and clean, providing both a fan and an aircon. The breakfast included was a great bonus, and the staff were helpful and friendly. They even helped me navigate the public transport system, which I greatly appreciated. The location was close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring the area.

Lovely traditional wooden Thai house in the heart of Phetchaburi. Set in a small, beautiful garden with bird-filled breakfast area. Peaceful location near shops and temples. Spacious rooms and clean shared bathrooms. Friendly, helpful host who speaks basic English.

The rooms at Banthai Guesthouse are so cozy and comfortable. I loved watching movies on the flat-screen TV, and the air conditioning kept us cool during the hot Phetchaburi days. Having a private bathroom was a real plus, especially with two kids in tow.

Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too cold sometimes. But hey, that's just my preference.

The garden at this guesthouse is like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. Surrounded by lush greenery, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

The guesthouse offers bicycle and scooter rentals, allowing for easy transportation around the area. The atmosphere is cozy and the communal area provides a nice space for breakfast and relaxing. The young lady at reception is friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable, clean, and equipped with a fridge and air conditioning. a great place with a good location and pleasant amenities.

Felt right at home, with no complaints.
